Earthride fit in the 'Southern' Doom Metal category, although not necessarily in the style of bands à la Down, Beaten Back To Pure, Weedeater etc. They have a pretty good grasp on Doom itself but add a bit of a biker touch to it, with throat-rippin', alcohol-drenched vocals (not unlike Dixie's), a heavy rhythm section and exciting leads overall.
